Summary

 

The primary responsibilities of the Innovation Manager will include interacting with internal business leaders and key client stakeholders to understand the program objectives and determine key requirements for sales program design and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support sales initiatives by working with Practice Leaders, Business Development and Client Services, in representing MarketSource capabilities to design and perform continuous improvement of sales programs
  • Work with business leaders and clients to assess overall technical and business needs of a company in order to make recommendations to drive key business results
  • Consult and partner with key internal and external executives to develop, implement, and execute innovative strategies that enable teams to deliver additional value and exceed expectations
  • Support new customers to ensure key program processes and technology needs are identified and documented, set-up is complete, and the appropriate training requirements are designed, developed, and delivered
  • Support existing customers by identifying ways to drive service delivery improvement through the modification of processes, application of technology, and the development of training materials and job aids to facilitate the improvement of skills, attributes and behaviors 
  • Support the completion of strategic initiatives by leveraging process engineering, technology and instructional design disciplines to perform the tasks and projects necessary to complete initiatives on time, on quality and on budget
  • Utilize an engineering and process-based approach based on proven, fundamental practices and methods to execute continuous process improvement 
  • Act as a change acceleration leader to drive adoption of new technology, processes, and methodologies. Demonstrate strong and clear accountability for the group’s performance and delivery
  • Ensure full integration with Client Services, Sales, Practice Leaders and back-office functional areas
  • Conduct and encourage frequent formal and informal communication with Shared Services groups to ensure full engagement
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of sales enablement technologies to help sales programs achieve variable attainment objectives

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exemplary project management skills
  • Strong understanding of database structure and principles of data manipulation
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
  • Broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance preferred
  • Experience dealing with customers in a professional services context preferred
  • Ability to translate complex analytic modeling across a wide range of industries, verticals, and stakeholder levels
  • Ability to communicate complex subjects in written form
  • Skilled in developing models to communicate and simplify complex and abstract concepts
  • Ability to interact and engage across all levels of an organization

 

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in field of Computer Science, Industrial Engineering/Systems Engineering or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with Salesforce Administration, development and implementation, 2+ years' experience in the Sales Cloud space
  • Travel required periodically for business reviews and conferences – every two to three months
  • Four (4) in-office workdays per week and the option to work remote OR in office on fifth (5th) day
