Summary

The Senior Accountant will manage the month-end close, billing and collections, and financial reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position requires adherence tour corporate policies, procedures and guidelines. It requires adherence to tight deadlines and experience in compensation planning, commission and bonus statement preparation, general ledger accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, consolidations, and audit coordination. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience with budgeting systems and a strong technical background to enhance financial systems and processes.

Essential Functions:

• Create, manage, and administer compensation plans, including commission and bonus structures, with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
• Develop, track, and analyze budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Serve as system administrator for Oracle budgeting tool
• Monitor revenue and expenses to confirm financial status, perform consolidations, and prepare special reports
• Review and coordinate work performed by accounting staff
• Provide guidance to other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policies, offering recommendations for operational improvement
• Assist and coordinate audit requests with both internal and external auditors
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard company financial data

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Ability to handle sensitive compensation data with the highest level of confidentiality and judgment
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Strong organization, time management, and prioritization abilities
• Strong technical background with experience in financial software and systems (Prefer any major accounting system + Oracle FCCS or EPBCS skill and experience) 
• Must have strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to maintain accounting controls by assisting the accounting manager in defining accounting policies and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team with a results-oriented mindset
• Ability to develop budgets, track expenses, and optimize financial processes
• Must have demonstrated expert-level Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, and data visualization
• High-level analytical skills with exceptional follow-up and sense of urgency is a must

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• Minimum 5+ years of related accounting experience
• Proficiency in using budgeting tools and financial reporting systems
• Experience with general ledger entries, accounts payable, revenue recognition and client billing
• In-office workdays are required; there will be day(s) designated for working remotely based on schedule assigned
