Summary
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading and establishing a strategic working relationship with internal stakeholders and client partners in the assigned business vertical(s), infusing industry expertise and guidance into daily operations, ultimately driving profitable financial outcomes for the business. Responsible for providing consultative advice to clients based on internal trends and external market forces and partnering with internal stakeholders to implement strategic plans to proactively enhance ability to meet the needs of existing and new business partners.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:
Directly manage multiple Program Managers, overseeing multiple programs

Partner with Program Managers to identify opportunities for program improvement and implement strategies to drive operational effectiveness based on best practices and industry expertise

Prepare content for and lead meetings with client partners and their customers on business trends and joint business planning for upcoming quarters/years

Travel to industry events and client meetings to present to senior leadership

Provide industry insights to executive leadership, along with recommendations on how to evolve the business model and value proposition

Manage client commitments and expectations

Coach and develop Program Managers to drive performance with their teams and exceed program goals and objectives

Plan and direct the program’s activities to achieve financial and performance targets mutually established by MarketSource and the client

Monitor program objectives and provide critical performance feedback to the client and leadership

Provide analysis for ad-hoc executive management reporting

Perform regular financial and program reviews with client’s management staff and MarketSource

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Expertise in the applicable industry as assigned, with the ability to translate that expertise into actionable next steps for the business

Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing high performance programs with aggressive goals and delivering successful results

High tolerance for ambiguity demonstrated in the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, responsibilities, and business needs

Strong business acumen

Ability to build strong partnerships with internal employees as well as external stakeholders

Proven ability to analyze and improve work processes for efficiency

Demonstrated leadership, motivational and influencing skills

Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

Ability to present to senior leaders and executives, as well as small and large groups

Ability to maintain professional demeanor; demonstrate integrity and confidentiality

 

Education


Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, communication, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.


Experience
Minimum ten years' experience required in the applicable industry in a sales, management, and/or marketing role required


Minimum of three years management experience required

Experience in a call center, contact center, or business process outsourcing organization is preferred

 

Other
Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
