Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

 

Strategic Leadership & Team Development

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement among business development professionals.
  • Instill a high-performance, results-driven mindset across the team.
  • Support professional growth and succession planning within the business development function.

 

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with MarketSource’s sales acceleration and customer experience solutions.
  • Personally engage in high-value sales opportunities, including prospecting, outreach, and managing the full enterprise/RFP sales lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate a bias for action to drive measurable results in a dynamic, competitive sales environment.
  • Ensure adherence to MarketSource’s standardized sales processes, including CRM (Salesforce) usage, pipeline management, and compliance protocols.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts to align MarketSource targets with company priorities and capture market share from competitors.
  • Oversee the RFX process and deliver compelling, client-focused presentations.

                               

Client Engagement & Consultative Selling

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite and senior business leaders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client business challenges and aligning MarketSource solutions to deliver measurable value.
  • Collaborate to increase sales acceleration and customer experience solution growth.

 

Market Intelligence & Brand Representation

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy.
  • Represent MarketSource at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to elevate brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (solution design, marketing, financial operations, technology, legal, delivery) and MarketSource leaders/partners to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.

 

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

  • Familiarity with CRM, sales enablement, outsourcing, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization, within all Allegis companies, and with industry partners.
  • Demonstrates high integrity, resilience, and a client-first mindset.
  • Results-driven, goal-oriented, and committed to excellence in every interaction.
  • Willingness to travel and participate in important client presentations, industry conferences, and internal strategic meetings.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Over 15 years of experience in business development, including a minimum of 5 years specializing in consultative, solution-based sales.
  • Proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar, multi-year, enterprise deals.
  • Significant sales management experience with national or global exposure preferred.
  • Deep understanding of sales acceleration, customer experience, customer support, and business outcomes for B2B/B2C environments.
  • Strong executive presence and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, growth-oriented organization.
  • Approximately 50% travel required
  • Located in the Greater Atlanta area, preferred
